The UK Greater Manchester NIHR and BlueCloud effort including the modernization of an Investigator Site Network in the United Kingdom with over 1,400 PIs, along with their local investigator sites, will 1) Allow access to global network of educators including standardized and industry accepted training, educational and accredited certification activities, including but not limited to the NIH Stroke Scale, Rankin, Barthel Index and dozens of other standards of care that enable better patient care workflows and regulatory compliance to improve sponsor site screenings in clinical research. 2) Provide current and future Greater Manchester’s network of sites, with verifiable FDA and research readiness tools through BlueCloud’s real-time professional Quality Management Systems (QMS) 3) Develop and organize standardized site processes required by sponsors and regulators for business and compliance purposes. 4) Provide sites sustainability with real time connectivity to device and pharma sponsors, CROs, Universities and Government(s) funded trials to help sites build study pipelines. 5) Eliminate redundancies between organizations by maintaining verifiable, real-time healthcare and clinical research professional documents. 6) Provide sponsors, internationally, with shareable information about sites and thus promoting research ready sites. 7) Develop a regional collaboration within the UK that supports training and education standards, which in turn promotes a more globally harmonized international approach to the clinical research and healthcare process.

“This collaboration will allow us the opportunity to provide real connectivity into an increasingly global system, allowing us to improve our clinical research and healthcare processes in the UK. This really is a beneficial partnership that will help future research and healthcare” Paul Hedgeland, Business Development Manager, NIHR Clinical Research Network, Greater Manchester.
